Season 9 of The Curse of Oak Island is well underway. The episode tonight showed them finding even more wood in the swamp and the money pit area.
The long reach excavator pulled out more interesting wood objects from the swamp. Several of these pieces showed some interesting worked surfaces. Perhaps they are pieces of a ship or are tools. They definitely have interesting wear patterns on them that show they were used for something. One of them may be made from a harder wood and it will be interesting to see what type.
The drilling survey in the Money Pit area continued to look where they believe Shaft 6 was located. They found more stacked wood which may show they have found two sides of a shaft. It seems like they are close to determining where to put the first big can.
The preview of the next episode shows some excitement with the drill rig, so it will be interesting to see exactly what happened.
I am watching a new episode of Beyond Oak Island which shows other treasure sites around the world. It is always interesting to learn more about History.
Recent episodes have been a bit repetitive and haven’t moved the story forward too much, however the preview for next week shows some excitement. Perhaps we will see something new.
