Wednesday Image Search – EE

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Awhile back I searched for ‘hat’ and ‘bat’ so started a theme of ‘?at’ words. I finished the theme, so am now searching for double vowels

Tonight in the new theme of double vowels I am searching for ‘ee’.

These should be interesting. There are a lot of words with double vowels.

What images will I find?

Bee on Thistle - Pollen covered bee - thistle - beeWith the first image we have a bee on a thistle in Turkey. My Mom was looking forward to seeing a picture of this little creature with a double vowel in the name. I have so many bee pictures that I could have just shown them in this post.

Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, Cheerios, Pumpkin, Oats, Cereal, FallThe second image is of some Pumpkin Spice Cheerios.

cheese buffet, kingbridge centre, toronto, king city, canadaNext we have an image of a cheese board in the restaurant at a training centre I stayed at near Toronto.

leben am toten meer, life at the dead sea, SMAC, ChemnitzHere is a sign at a museum I visited in Germany during my last trip. The sign was giving information about a special exhibition about life at the Dead Sea (Toten Meer). Some pictures that I took during a visit to Masada were part of the exhibition. record, vinyl, record player, Let's Take the Bus, memoriesFinally we have a needle cartridge on my record player. I have listened to a few records during the pandemic.

I had 687 ‘ee’ images to pick from, and had to make some tough decisions on what to share. I may have to do a 2nd edition of this post.

Which is your favorite of these ‘ee’ pictures?

What should I search for next? I think I will continue the theme of double vowels with ‘ii’.

More Seismic Results from Oak Island

Season 9 of The Curse of Oak Island is well underway.

In the episode tonight they showed the results of further processing of the seismic results from the money pit area that were gathered several years ago..Curse of Oak Island, History Channel, Did they find anything? The seismic results are matching up with some of the drilling survey results and are also giving clues as to where to do additional drilling.

The combination of the drilling survey and seismic results will help determine where the large cans will be located.

oak Island, Money Pit, Mahone BayThe drilling survey in the Money Pit area had some excitement as water started gushing up through the casing at a depth shallower than where they expected to find something. They were worried that they may have hit a natural gas pocket, but there was no evidence of gas. It is possible that it is from air or water trapped in an empty tunnel or man-made cavity that had not been accessed for a very long time.

Oak Island, Money Pit, National Geographic, Curse of Oak IslandThe lead bag seal finally has another mention in this episode. They were metal detecting near where it was found and found an ox shoe and a metal spike which point to movement of goods. They still say that the bag seal may have connections to the Templars, which is interesting. Unfortunately they don’t give any details about the actual seal.

Curse of Oak Island, Mahone Bay, Nova ScotiaOf course, digging continued in the swamp with some additional wooden pieces including some possible decking from a ship. C14 testing gave a date consistent with other wooden objects found in the swamp.

oak island, curse of oak lsland, satellite, money pitThis was definitely an episode that was a bit more interesting. The preview for next week also shows a bit more excitement in the swamp and money pit areas.
