Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.
After searching for ‘tea’ last week I will search for ‘yea’ this week.
What images will I find?
The first image is of my friend Cindy and I from one of our school pictures. We grew up in the Brady Bunch years.
The second image is a clipping from a newspaper. The facts are not quite correct, but it states that my 4th Great Grandfather Absalom Leeper lived to the age of 108 years. He actually was only 97 when he passed away, but that is a different story to tell.
Here we have another newspaper clipping about the death of President Kennedy. I used this in a post about the 50 year anniversary of his death. The original clipping is from one of my Grandma’s scrapbooks.
Here is a editorial cartoon from the Des Moines Register about Iowa 50 Years From Now?. Click on the link to see how accurate to predictions were. The original cartoon is from 1959.
Finally we have a picture showing New Year lanterns in Shanghai.
All of the finds included ‘yea’ as part of the word year. There was not a lot of diversity in the finds.
Which is your favorite of these ‘yea’ pictures?
What should I search for next? I have run out of ‘ea’ strings that generate images. I need to find a new idea for a series. Any suggestions?
