Virtual Hike to Bloomfield, Vermont

The next destination on my Virtual Hike was Bloomfield, Vermont

The previous destination on my virtual hike was Errol, New Hampshire.

You may recognize the name Dixville Notch for the midnight voting tradition they have there. The town, with only a handful of residents, is often the first to turn in their votes during presidential elections.

The roads were winding and were definitely not flat. A big contrast to where the actual hiking is done along flat sidewalks in my neighborhood.

I had only one destination in New Hampshire, but will have several in Vermont including one that brings back a lot of memories.

I have been setting shorter distances between destinations for better motivation for my daily walking and so far it has been working. I have been walking more each day and have made good progress on my Virtual Hike. I am actually a few stops behind on my posts.

Next up is to cross Vermont and then on to a special destination in New York, before heading down through the Hudson River Valley.
