Wednesday Image Search – Dau

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I started a new sequence. There are multiple ”*au’ combinations that will not find enough images. I already had to skip ‘aau’ and ‘bau’ in this ‘*au” sequence. I will have to skip more as I go along, but did have enough for ‘cau’ last week. This week I will search for ‘dau’ even though I don’t have the usual five images.

What images will I find?

The Forgotten Daughter, Caroline Dale Snedeker, Newbery Honor Book, Newbery Award WinnerThe first image is of the book Forgotten Daughter by Caroline Dale Snedeker. I really enjoyed this Newbery Honor Book. I read it during my challenge to read all the Newbery Award and Honor books. This was a great historical fiction book.

The Daughter of Sherlock Holmes, Leonard Goldberg, Mystery, detective stories, SherlockThis is going to be a short search as I only found a few images. The second image is of another book.

The book is The Daughter of Sherlock Holmes by Leonard Goldberg.

See: The Daughter of Sherlock Holmes

There were only the two ‘dau’ images to choose from, so I chose them both.

Have you read either of these books.

What should I search for next? I will probably just continue on with this new sequence.
