My next wandering is rapidly approaching as I will be heading to South Africa about a month from now.

I have been to South Africa twice before, and am looking forward to this trip.

What do you think of when you think of Africa? Do you think of big animals, that you usually only see in a zoo? Perhaps I will see some on this trip also.

I am not sure if I will eat at the Carnivore this trip, but I am remembering a great meal there during my last trip.

I am sure that I will have a meal at Nando’s. South Africa is where Nando’s started. I remember my first experience with Nando’s there over twenty years ago. Since then I have eaten at Nando’s around the world. I need my Nando’s fix.

I am not going through Europe on this trip. Instead I will fly through Newark. It will be a long flight, but if something goes wrong with connections I will at least be in the US and flying on an airline where I have some priority.

Unfortunately, this also brings back memories from my first trip back from South Africa. It was a long trip home back in September of 2001 including a stop in Canada.

Someday I should go somewhere else in Africa. Perhaps Egypt, Uganda or Ivory Coast. Where would you go in Africa?
