Tomorrow, December 7th, is the 60th or Diamond Wedding Anniversary for my parents.

It is easy for me to remember when their anniversary is as it is the day after my work anniversary. I started to work for my current company the day before their 30th wedding anniversary.

Actually it is the opposite. I remember my work anniversary because of theirs which is on Pearl Harbor Day.

Today was my 30th work anniversary. A lot of memories today.

Here is a picture of my parents on their wedding day 60 years ago. They look so young 🙂

They were married in Frytown, Iowa where my grandfather preached.

My Mom still has the cake top from her wedding cake and it was used at their Golden Anniversary celebration ten years ago.

Here you can see part of their wedding cake. Wedding cakes bring back so many memories for me as my mother used to decorated cakes. I have several Facebook friends whose wedding cakes were made by my mother.

Here is a picture that was taken on Saturday after Thanksgiving. We had a family celebration for their 60th or Diamond Wedding Anniversary.
