Wednesday Image Search – Bot

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I searched for ‘wir’ which ended my ‘*ir’ sequence. This week I will start a new sequence with ‘bot’. There will be some gaps in this ‘*ot’ sequence, including ‘aot’, as not all combinations will find images.

What images will I find?

Huntsman and Dogs, Royal Botanic Gardens, Henri Jacquemart, Sculpture, BronzeThe first image was taken in the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney, Australia. This sculpture is known as Huntsman and Dogs.

Perfume Bottle, Fosse Temple, Lachish, Israel, Perfume, Ivory BottleNext is a perfume bottle that was found at Lachish in Israel. It is on display at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.

rubber band, ball, pottery, pot, glazed, junior high art classHere is the bottom of a pot that I made while in school back in Kansas. I still use this pot today to keep some items in.

Stand the Bottle, Carnival Game, Pop Bottle, Raise the bottleHere is a stand the bottle game that we had at a carnival at work many years ago. It was not as easy as it looks.

Groveland Yosemite Gateway Museum - Groveland, California - Old Bottles - Household ItemsFinally we have some old bottles at a museum in Groveland, California.

There were only a few ‘bot’ images to choose from, so I hope you like the selection.

Which is your favorite of these pictures?

What should I search for next? I will probably continue with the ‘*ot” series even though I need to skip some instances since there are no or few images for some of them.
