Tonight I am thinking about my first trip to Bangalore back at the end of the last century.

The reason why I am thinking about the trip is that one of my colleagues from India retired today after many years with the company.

The trip was for my first training course at an international location. The training course was held at the Dominion Country Club just north of Bangalore.

Here is a picture that was taken of me and some of the students. Most of them are still working for the company 25 years later. I even saw some of them in a virtual meeting this evening.

I remember the great time that we had together in the classroom. Most of the students were just starting to work together as we had just opened an office in India.

All the instruments that we trained on at that time have been replaced by newer models so I have seen many of the students in additional courses through the years. Some of them I have also certified as trainers.

We also did a bit of sightseeing on the weekends and here you see me at the top of Nandi Hills.

Lots of memories tonight.
