Wednesday Image Search – Lar

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I searched for ‘kar.’ This week I will proceed to ‘lar.’

What images will I find?

Perfect Game? Fantastic! It Was! - Don Larsen - World Series Perfect Game - Baseball playoffs - New York YankeesThe first image is a clipping that my Grandmother saved in a scrapbook. Here we have an article about the Perfect Game that Don Larsen pitched in the World Series for the New York Yankees.

Caterpillar Roll - Sushi Roll - Sushi - Yanagi Sushi - Japanese FoodThe next image is a delicious caterpillar roll at Yanagi Sushi in Dublin, California.

Grenadier Pond, High Park, Canada, Toronto, MallardHere is a mallard at High Park in Toronto, Canada. A beautiful place to visit with a good friend.

Cardo - Jerusalem - Pillars - Main Street Jerusalem - BAR - Biblical Archaeology Review - BARThis picture was taken in Jerusalem and is of pillars along the old Cardo.

archaeology, jeans, iron age dirt, dirty clothes, laundryFinally, we have a picture of the ‘ring around the collar‘ of a vest that I wore while excavatiing in Israel. It was a very dirty adventure.

There were quite a few  ‘lar’ pictures to choose from. It is interesting to see what words included ‘lar’ as most of them were proper names.  I hope you enjoyed my selections.

Which is your favorite of these ‘lar’ pictures?

What should I search for next?  Since I am following a series with ‘?ar’  the next one will probably be ‘mar’ as I have quite a few to choose from.
