This morning as I left for services I was a bit worried about how the roads would be. Would I see some flooding? Would I have to take a detour?
Unfortunately, the answers were yes. As I started out of town I saw a lot of water off to the side of the road.
I had to drive through water in several places, and even had to make a detour at one place near Patterson. Fortunately, the detour was not very long.
On the way I had to drive through water at this place, but it had dried out by the time I headed back home a couple of hours later.
Many of the orchards along the way were flooded and waters were up to the edge of the pavement.
There were also some power lines being repaired near a railway crossing.
I am glad that I wasn’t driving through here during the storm yesterday. Several inches of rain fell yesterday, and coupled with high winds it would have been dangerous.
