Tonight I decided to share some pictures from some of my recent walks. I get out and walk at least a couple miles each day. It has been a bit more difficult to get my walks in during the last week as we have had a lot of rain. Some days I have gone out and walked in the drizzle.

I am often heading out the door at sunset to start my walk. Here we had a nice sunset with the clouds in the sky.

I will be glad when it is not so dark at quitting time each day.

With all the rain, there are mushrooms popping up in different places along my walking route.

The rain has also weakened some of the trees and in several places there are trees that have fallen because of high wind.

Here was a picture from earlier today. We have had off and on rain all day. I am glad that I walked earlier today as it is raining again.

I also took this picture earlier today. The grass in the park is nice and green from the rain. We really do need the rain, but not all at once like we are getting now. There is a flood watch in effect for the rest of the year. The city is even giving out sandbags as there are some low lying areas of town that get flooded when we have heavy rain.

Tomorrow I will have to watch for the gaps in the rain and get my walk in as soon as possible as it is supposed to rain most of the day.
