Today this was a phrase that many uttered after we stuffed ourselves with Thanksgiving dinner.
I went to some friends to enjoy a feast together. I was greeted by a large blow up turkey decoration, complete with a Pilgrim hat.
The food started appearing on the table as the preparation was completed and the time for the feast drew nigh.
The turkey plate made it to the table and was placed just in front of me. The turkey was cooked well and to the right level of moisture.
I loaded my plate with turkey and fixings. I tried to not eat too much, but I had to have a little bit of everything.
I had to say that I’m stuffed, and had to take a rest before finally having a slice of pumpkin pie before heading home.
I went out and walked later in the evening, and was still feeling a bit stuffed. I will need to take a long walk tomorrow to make up for not walking too far today.
The food was great today, but more importantly I enjoyed spending time with friends I have not see for awhile.
I am thankful for a great day.
