I have finally seen an opening date for the Livermore Chick-fil-A.

The construction trailers were still up in the parking lot area last week and it looked like much of the construction was complete.

There were some big signs hanging on the construction fence letting everyone know that the Chick-fil-A was coming soon. There were also signs about hiring and recent checks of the internet have shown that jobs are being filled as openings disappear.

The site has come a long way from just being an empty lot.

Earlier this year you could see the building under construction.

It looks like there is still some landscaping to complete as the construction fences come down in preparation for opening.

Here you can see the building still surrounded by the construction fence, but soon you will see cars and people lining up as the latest Tri-Valley Chick-fil-A opens. I have seen that a couple more are in planning stages in Dublin and Pleasanton.

So when is the opening date?

It is now showing up on the Chick-fil-A website.

The Livermore Chick-fil-A is to open on the first day of December. So when you have filled yourself with Thanksgiving leftovers for a week you can then go to the new Chick-fil-A for a chicken sandwich.

Update 11/30: The website now shows December 8 as the opening date. There must have been a schedule slip.

Only two more weeks till opening day.
