Tonight while driving home I decided to exit off the highway and see how close the Livermore Chick-fil-A was to opening. A couple weeks ago I had seen that road construction was taking place which was needed for access to the parking lot and drive-thru.
The construction trailers were still up in the parking lot area, but it looks like much of the construction is complete.
There are some big signs hanging on the construction fence letting everyone know that the Chick-fil-A was coming soon. There were also some signs about hiring and recent checks of the internet have shown that jobs are being filled as openings disappear.
Here you can see that they have added a lane to North Livermore Avenue to provide better access to the site and to also mitigate traffic.
It looks like there is still some landscaping to complete as the construction fences come down in preparation for opening.
Here you can see the building still surrounded by the construction fence, but soon you will see cars and people lining up as the latest Tri-Valley Chick-fil-A opens. I have seen that a couple more are in planning stages in Dublin and Pleasanton.
I will keep watching for the opening date and will add it here once it is known.
When will it open?
