While out walking earlier this week I discovered that we are getting a new restaurant not far from my house. The building has housed a Perko’s for as long as I have lived here so it was a bit of a surprise to see it changing. I did check on Perko’s website and it is still listed as a location. However, it in the middle of being remodeled and is closed.

Here is what is replacing Perko’s.

Huckleberry’s is known for “Southern Cookin’ with a California Twist!”

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for the remodel as they have a distinctive  look and a lot will need to change in both the interior and exterior.

Huckleberry’s only serves breakfast and lunch so it will be interesting to see how well they do since Tracy is a commuter city.

I have looked at the website and there are some great menu options. I may have to give them a try once they open.
