Today was the first full day of fall. It was a nice day with warm temperatures, although it will be hot over the weekend with temperatures in the 90’s.

I have been looking forward to fall with the cooler temperatures and the changes in color as the trees start to loose their leaves.

I am looking forward to seeing some colorful trees. My virtual hike is passing through Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont during fall so I can visualize scenic views of the beautiful trees in full color.

It is still very early for the color change here at home, but I know that the color is already changing in some areas of the country.

We often thing of red and orange colors for fall, but I also enjoy the yellows of some of the trees.

I am looking forward to some nice cool fall walks.
