Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I searched for ‘stone’ so I thought of a similar word for this week.

Tonight my word is ‘rock’.

What images will I find?

First we have a picture of Castle Rock in the badlands near Quinter, Kansas.

Next is Morro Rock in Morro Bay, California.

Here we have a picture of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.

Here is my family standing in front of a rock wall my father helped build in Ottumwa, Iowa. This is my Dad, Mom, Grandpa (holding my older sister) and  my Aunt Sylvia.

Does anyone recognize where this wall was? It has now been replaced with a concrete block wall, but some of the old walls are still there around on the property.

Last is a picture I took in Capetown, South Africa of a restaurant called Fish on the Rocks.

These images show that ‘rock’ has different uses as a name or just simply as a rock.
