Roses in the New Year

Despite the cold weather Sunday morning, I still have roses on my bushes. I will have to evaluate them this weekend and see if it is time to prune.

This rose bush will be the hardest to prune as it is a floribunda and is quite old with a lot of old growth.

I will enjoy my roses for awhile longer and then will have to undergo that period of time each year when I don’t have rose blooms.
