This afternoon I went to check my mail and as I opened my front door found a package. I immediately knew what it was as I have been waiting for a book that I ordered.

I was eager to open the package and see the book.

The book is The Mayflower 500: Five Hundred Notable Descendants of the Founding Families of the Mayflower by Gary Boyd Roberts.

I have been busy this evening scanning through the book and seeing who I am related to through my Mayflower ancestor George Soule.

I have also been watching a three part series on PBS about the wives of Henry VIII, and must get back to watch the last part. Thankfully, I can back up the show a bit.

The wives of Henry VIII played a part setting the stage for the Great Migration, so it is interesting to watch.
