Recently I ran across an interesting box of limited edition Hostess CupCakes.

These would be a good snack for someone who loves Unicorns.

They are colorful and full of sprinkles and confetti.

When I opened the box I was hit with a blast of pastel colors.

The frosting is teal with blue sprinkles and is topped by a pink squiggle. There is definitely some bleeding of colors from the sprinkles. This one had the best distribution of sprinkles and the least bleeding of color into the squiggle. They were not very consistent.

The cake itself had some bits of color, although not as much as what was shown on the box.

They tasted like CupCakes to me 🙂 Not too sweet and a good consistency. Just a yellow cake cupcake with some colorful frosting and decorations.

It is now time to watch out for holiday CupCakes.
