It has been a hot summer so far, so am looking forward to heading the winter in a week.

Of course, that means heading to the Southern Hemisphere.

It has been a long time since I was in Brazil.

I was last there in 2002, and you can see by the picture on the building that it was near Christmas time.

I will not be at the beach, but will be in a classroom each day.

However, it will be good to have some cooler weather.

Here is the AccuWeather forecast here in California for the two weeks that I will be gone. Mostly in the 90’s, but with a trio of triple digit days.

It will be winter in Sao Paulo, but it will still be warm. However, the high temperatures will be 20-30 degrees cooler.

After a very hot day today I am definitely ready for some cooler temperatures.
