I am now home from Israel, but am remembering the ice cream that we had after A Week of Digging.

On the Thursday of the first week, after taking a tour of our own squares, we had lunch at the dig site.

We then made a trip to nearby Lachish to learn more about the area where we were digging. Of course, this is a site that I know well as I have spent four weeks digging there. I need to write an update post about Lachish sometime with more pictures. However, since I am tired tonight I will share pictures of where we went next.

After visiting Lachish our next stop was the outlet store at the Ben & Jerry’s plant.

This was a nice treat after spending most of the day in the sun.

They had a nice area for relaxing that included a cow couch. Madison is enjoying her ice cream while sitting on it.

Of course, I got my favorite vanilla ice cream. However, underneath the vanilla is hiding some strawberry.

I am also thinking about ice cream tonight as we will be having a ice cream at work tomorrow afternoon to celebrate something.
