One more day to work this week and then it will be time to head to Jerusalem.

I have a long flight ahead of me, but will be looking forward to a nice bed at the Imperial Hotel in Jerusalem.

It is possible that I could be in a room looking down on one of my favorite places to eat in Jerusalem. Perhaps I will have a slice of Jacob’s Pizza this weekend.

I am sure that we will visit the Western Wall.

Also, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

However, we will not have too much time in Jerusalem, as late morning on Sunday we will be meeting a bus to take us south to Khirbet al Ra’i where we will start our excavations.

Packing is in progress, but I still have a lot of chores to finish before heading to the airport on Thursday.

I may miss a few days of blogging on the trip. It all depends on timing with the time zone change, how much time I have, how tired I am and of course how good the wifi is.
