Today marks the end of summer for another year. Of course my summer has not been quite as long as for others as I have spent part of it in winter.
Of course summer means green grass if you have your sprinklers running in California, but you may have some brown spots. You also may have volunteer trees if you wait too long to mow if you are on a trip.
With fall on the way I should still have some nice green grass, but the trees will start to change color.
I will also start to watch out for fall color as the leaves start to change with the cooler weather.
I will be keeping my eye out for nice colorful leaves to take pictures of.
One thing I will definitely be looking forward to is fall roses. My roses have had a tough summer and since the weather has cooled I am starting to get some nice new blooms.
And of course, the last day of summer means that tomorrow is my brother’s birthday. I must remember to wish him a happy birthday.
