Butterfinger Cups

Last week I discovered a new candy while looking for something to have in case of Halloween trick or treaters. I always pick up something that I would like just in case I have leftovers.

Butterfinger, Fun Size, Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups, Halloween, CandyI was looking for a bag of Fun Size Butterfingers. I like Butterfingers, but can usually only eat a small one. They get too sweet too fast to eat a large one.Butterfinger, Fun Size, Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups, Halloween, CandyI could not find a bag of just Butterfingers. All of the bags also had Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups. I did not know that these existed. I looked them up and found that they were introduced earlier this year. Nestle even had a Super Bowl commercial to introduce them.

Butterfinger, Filling, Butterfinger fun size, NestleThe picture didn’t come out very good, but this is the filling of a Butterfinger. The layering of the decadent crunchy filling is guaranteed to make for a messing eating experience.  I usually end up with small pieces that I have to pick up.

I actually like this better than the Butterfinger as it is not as sweet and there is a better ratio of chocolate versus the filling. There is definitely a nice crunch and sweetness from the filling, but not as overpowering as a Butterfinger.

The rainy night kept the trick or treaters away, so I have plenty left. It will probably take me several months to get through them as I don’t often eat candy bars.

Have you tried the Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups?

Steven
