Creepy Critters

This evening I will share a few creepy critters from my trip to Toronto.

I actually had another post in mind for this evening, but it fell through as I was not able to find what I needed to complete the post. Maybe sometime soon it will come together.

Full Moon, 1/320 Exposure, Camera Practice, Night SkyMaybe the Almost Full Moon is making me think of creepy things.

Closeup of Bee, Toronto, Canada, Bee on Chain Link Fence, Creepy CreatureHere is a bee that I captured while it was resting on a chain link fence. You can see that I got it from the business end. I am not sure I would want to see this any closer.

Green Tree Python, Toronto Zoo, Toronto Canada, Tree Snake. Snake closeupHere is a Green Tree Python (Morelia viridis) at the Toronto Zoo. Even though this snake is non-venomous and is one of the most gentle snakes when bred in captivity, I was glad that there was a wall of glass between us. It just looks a bit creepy.

Komodo Dragon, Toronto Zoo, Largest LizardHere is a nice big Komodo Dragaon (Varanus komodoensis) at the Toronto Zoo.

There is also something a bit creepy about a big lizard. It is no wonder that this lizard gets the dragon moniker.

Do you see the big claws? I don’t think I want to get too near to them.

Yello Jacket, Wasp, Creepy Critter, BBQ, Water DropletsHere is another creepy critter. Most of us do not like Yellow Jackets or wasps. I caught this one drinking from a drop of water.

I hope you enjoyed this look at some creepy critters.

If so, you may also enjoy my post: Scary Anthropoda
