What do you usually see when people post their cruise pictures?

Nice sandy beaches, people relaxing on deck, people in cruise attire or bright sunny days?

Tonight I will share a few images that not your usual cruise pictures. Or maybe they are for the type of cruise that you like.

Have you been on a cruise where the deck chairs are covered with frost in the morning? I think it was actually a combination of snow and frost. Our trip to Antarctica was a bit cold at times.

We had to bundle up to go on deck at times. It could be a bit cold when taking pictures. Here my sister is taking a picture of an iceberg. She looks a bit like a penguin. I wonder which type of Penguin she looks like?

Of course we did have some beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets, but they were not reflected off of the beautiful warm waters of the usual cruise destinations. Here is the sunrise as we cruise down the Beagle Channel toward Ushuaia, Argentina. The seagull is taking a rest on our balcony and enjoying the view with me.

Luckily the clouds cleared and we had a wonderful day exploring the area.

There was some warm weather on the cruise and we did spend time sitting on deck. However, it was still cool enough to be comfortable in jeans. I didn’t have to worry about getting sunburn.

This was usually what we dressed like when we were out on deck. Here I am in Paradise Bay, Antarctica.
