I like to visit Bass Pro Shops as you feel like you have an Indoor Outdoors.
When you walk inside you are transported to the great outdoors, but one where the wildlife stands still to let you take pictures.
On Saturday after visiting the book store, see Saturday Book Acquisitions II, I then went to Bass Pro Shops to look for some items for my upcoming trip to Turkey.
While there I just had to take a few pictures. The one above is really cool with the misshapen Elk antler.
One of my favorite animals at the Bass Pro Shops in Manteca are the bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensisis). I took a couple shots of one of them and you can also see another one in my previous post about the Bass Pro Shop in Manteca.
Here we get a wonderful shot of the white coat of the sheep and the big horns.
How about a Wild Boar (Sus scrofa)? I am sure that I would run from this guy. It looks fierce. I am glad that it wasn’t alive.
How about a hunter’s brag wall. It would take quite a hunter to bag this group of heads. There are some massive racks on this wall.
After finding the clothing I was looking for I stopped by to see a friend who works there. I then headed home with a stop along the way at Target before getting home and finding out about my Water Woes.
Fortunately, my water woes are almost over. I have low water pressure while waiting for a shut-off valve to be replaced. It is stuck in an intermediate position. Luckily it is not stuck in the off position 🙂

Now to get busy preparing for my upcoming trip to Turkey!
