Finger Foods are definitely some of the best eats during the holidays. They are usually very photogenic as well as cooks go out of their way to make them look good for party spreads.
Here are a few of the finger foods from our New Years party.
Bacon wrapped little smokies are always delicious and look very nice on a plate.
It is a good thing that my friend Becky made two plates full of the little smokies. They were really good and soon disappeared. Here you can also see a little healthier option. Baby carrots are also a good finger food.
Of course, there were also some of my long time favorite deviled eggs. I have to make sure I don’t keep going back for more of these when I see them at a party or potluck.
Of course you may want to know what I brought for the party. Here is my plate. I did have some help with it. My friend Jerri brought the bottle of sauce I used, and the little spreaders which she knew that I would forget. I do have some, but they slipped my mind.
However, I brought the rest. You can’t see the charger beneath, but the beautiful plate sits in the middle of the charger and the crackers are arranged around the edge. As they disappear, they are easy to replenish.
In the middle we have nice soft cream cheese covered with Apricot Pepper sauce.
The Apricot Pepper Sauce is from Stewart and Jackson Orchards which is just down the road from Patterson where we had the party. Patterson is in the middle of Apricot country and has an annual Apricot Fiesta.
I may have to go have a snack before bed.
What is your favorite finger food?
Steven

I like the bite-size mini quiches. So, so good.

WOW, what a spread. I have always liked Devilled Eggs and no one makes them much anymore. Happy New Year Steven, I hope you have a fantastic Year!
