This afternoon I took a short walk during my afternoon break from class. I had been noticing some beautiful trees each morning as I turn into the parking lot and decided that it was time to get a few pictures.
I really love the color on this tree. It is a riot of color with reds, yellows and still a little bit of green.
Here is a closer look at the colors. They contrast so well with each other. I also like the blue sky in the background.
I then took a walk along the tree lined sidewalk. It was nice to hear the rustle of the leaves as I walked and to look down and see the different shapes and colors.
Here is a small sample of the leaves that were on the sidewalk.
Finally, one last look picture showing the look ahead after I turned the corner to head back to my classroom. The sun coming from a different direction showed the trees in a different light. I also really like the beautiful yellow leaves on this tree.
This also made me think of a post about Wednesday Leaves that I wrote last year.
I hope you enjoyed this little view into my afternoon walk.
Steven

That is wonderful colour! Ours is but a distant memory.
Gorgeous colors …
