I have only a few minutes to get something posted tonight, so don’t have time to go through the large number of pictures I took during my evening activity.
Tonight I finally made it to a bloodless bullfight here in my hometown. I usually hear about the bullfight the week after it takes place and I finally managed to get to one.
First we have a scan of my ticket for the bullfight. It was well worth the $25 I paid for my entry fee.
The bullfight is held in conjunction with our local Portuguese associations annual Holy Ghost festa.
Pomp and pageantry was in place in the opening ceremonies for the bullfights in front of a full crowd. I had a lot of fun and also had a chance to talk to some of the people around me who had been coming to the bullfights for years.
I will try and put together a longer post tomorrow with more pictures. I learned a few things about low light action photography. Mainly that my camera is not the best for low light action :-).
Hopefully I have enough pictures that are at least partially in focus :-).
Here are two pictures to give you a quick impression of my evening.
The clock is ticking so this is your quick teaser for my post tomorrow.
