Turkey Month

Another Wednesday and time for a quick post. Since it is the first Wednesday of November I thought I would post a picture that makes me think of November and Thanksgiving.Wild Turkey Head - Dublin, California - ThanksgivingDoes this bird look a little bit worried? Does it know that it is about time for a big holiday meal?

We have a flock of wild turkeys near our office and they are often in our parking lot. Sometimes they stand on top of cars to get a better look around.

Do you think that wild turkeys are ugly? Or are they majestic? Maybe it is how close you get to them or how much detail you can see.

I will share more pictures and information about wild turkeys when it is closer to Thanksgiving.

Cute or Ugly? I guess that would depend on whether or not that one was gawking at me from the hood of my car….that’s hilarious. Do post a pic if you get one.

Majestic may be pushing it. That is quite the neck.

I vote for majestic. It’s amazing how wild turkeys have proliferated in suburban areas in recent years.

I think their neck’s are disgustingly!! It ruins the majestic look. At one of our local parks the ducks have cross bred so much they’ve mutated and have that horrible red turkey neck. The normal ducks don’t even like them.
