Today we take a break from the Olympics and History and just look at a few beautiful flowers.

The first was taken during an Easter egg hunt several years ago.

White Flower – Colorful Center

I like the contrast of the color against the white petals and the specks of scattered pollen. I can imagine the busy bee dripping with pollen as it flies in and out of the blossom.

The second picture was taken outside of my office. These flowers are in a large planter at about eye level and made for a great shot.

White Flower – Focus Fade

I like how the flowers slowly fade out of focus and the contrast of the white and yellow blooms against the green background. They also seem much larger than they truly are in this picture.
