Sunday Night Lesson

I am at a bit of a loss as to what to post tonight so thought I would just share some images from the lesson that I taught on Sunday night.

Blossom Time of the Year

Blossom time has begun again in California. For the past couple of weeks trees have been blossoming and filling the air with allergens. It has been a bit miserable, but very beautiful.

Almond Blossoms, Central Valley, Spring, OrchardsThis picture is from three years ago. As I drive south on I-5 to Patterson on Sunday mornings I look out over orchards full of white and pink blossoms. It really looks like it has snowed on the valley floor.

Japanese Cherry Blossoms - Cherry trees blooming - White BlossomsI am also thinking about cherry blossoms in Tokyo. There is a chance that I may have to go to Japan next month at just the right time to see them.

It is a beautiful time of year, but I am also happy when it is over and my allergies calm down a bit. For now, I just keep taking my allergy medicine.
