Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.
Last week I searched for ‘vir’ so this week I will continue on with ‘wir’. There have been some gaps in this sequence as not all combinations found images.
What images will I find?
The first image is a peppermint swirl in a pastry.
Next is some barbed wire on a fence along the Ramparts Walk in Jerusalem.
Here is some old wiring in an old barn in the Central Valley of California.
Here is a swirled cake batter. The cake was pretty cool once it was baked. See The Birthday Cake for the complete process and the end result.
Finally we have the wiring on my thermostat. I had to replace it some years back. You can see that the new one had a smaller footprint. The little blue screw holder at the upper left is still on my wall.
There were only a few ‘wir’ pictures to choose from and there were just wires and swirls.

What should I search for next? This was the last one in the ‘*ir’ series so I will need to come up with a new theme.
