Birthday Cakes

Tonight I am thinking about Birthday Cakes.

I will most likely not have a cake for my birthday this year, but I do like to remember some of the ones from when I was young. Most of my cakes were made by my Mom as she had a cake decorating business.

Maple Ceylon Tea

A colleague of mine recently went to Vancouver for a conference. To thank me for something I helped her with recently she brought me back some tea.

Maple Ceylon Tea, Canada, Vancouver, Maple FlavoringDefinitely a Canadian tea with the maple. The black tea is from Ceylon, but the maple oil and syrup that is added is from Canada.

Maple Ceylon Tea, Canada, Vancouver, Maple FlavoringThe pyramid tea bags were packaged in an atmospheric pressure foil bag, and when I opened it there was definitely a maple aroma. I suddenly had a longing for waffles, but will wait for breakfast tomorrow.

Maple Ceylon Tea, Canada, Vancouver, Maple FlavoringI was finally ready to try my nice Wednesday evening maple tea. The tea was nice and smooth and definitely had a maple taste. I look forward to enjoying more cups of this tea in the future.
