Cats at the Kibbutz

The Wi-Fi is down at the Kibbutz so will just share a few pictures from my phone.

Just like many places you visit in Israel there are a lot of cats here.

These two cats look like they mean business. You will soon sea where they are headed.

Here is a cute little tabby which is the favorite of the youngest of our dig team. He slips the cat food from the cafeteria.

This is where all the cats were headed. They know that there is usually some good thing to eat in the dumpster.

Tomorrow morning I head to the airport. I will try and get some nice information together about the dig sometime next week.

Be patient,

Steven

At the Kibbutz

While at the dig we are staying at a kibbutz about a thirty minute drive away.

Much can be shared about the kibbutz movement, but this post is not the place.

The grounds of the kibbutz are very nice and we are staying in rooms that sleep 3-4 people.

There are a lot of trees and flowers. There is a nice little store which feels like a country or small town store.

We eat lunch and dinner in the dining hall and the food is good.

There is one more day to dig and then on Friday I head toward the airport.
