After work I walk back to the hotel in Bangkok as long as it isn’t raining. I try to walk to the office also, but most mornings it has been raining and they have someone pick me up from the hotel.
The walk is only about 800 meters just down the street. I walk by buildings on my right and traffic coming my way on the left.
I pass an old Tuk Tuk as I make my way down the street. It is always there, so either is not in service at that time, or is just not used.
Just past the Tuk Tuk is a fish restaurant that has some big tanks of sea food out front. It is interesting to watch them capture the different fish and seafood.
I pass by several shrines as I get closer to the hotel.
I know that I am at the hotel when I see the big elephants in front of the hotel. They would look pretty cool in my front yard.

At the entrance of the restaurant we were able to see some of the crabs that were used in the curry dish.
