The short flight is done. Only about five hours.
I left home at 4:00 and made it to the airport before the rain started.
I slept most of the flight and didn’t watch a movie. I am sure I will on the next flight.
I did fly over Iowa on the way to Newark.
A few more hours and then the long flight. 14 hours and 35 minutes. At least they will feed me a couple times.
I will be tired when I get to Johannesburg.

I am almost packed and ready for my trip to South Africa tomorrow.
Clifford is packed and I just need to finish the carry on bags.
After a quick sleep I will be off to SFO.
It will still be dark as I head over the bridge to the other side of the bay.
At the end of Sunday in South Africa I will be almost 9,000 miles away from where I am now.
It will be probably be dark by the time I arrive at the airport in Johannesburg. The flight is supposed to arrive just before sunset, so there will still be some light.
Now to sleep and get some rest before the long drive to the airport in the morning.
