Wednesday Image Search – Spring

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

This week is the first week of a new season so I decided to search for ‘spring’.

What images will I find?

Wall Art, Four Seasons, Street Art, MuralWith the first image we have some spring images from a mural in Jena, Germany.

roses, spring, dandelions, new growth, renewalFor our second image I was inspired by the first image and have a spring dandelion.

Springbok, South Africa, Cradle Moon, ConservancyHow about where it is part of a word? Here is a Springbok in South Africa.

bbq, spring, summer, lunch, hot dogs, meatI like to have a food picture in my image searches, so here is a spring BBQ.

Spring of Harod, Gideon, Judges, Midianites, Bible ClassFinally, here is a picture of the Spring of Harod. Do you know what took place here?

I had a lot of interesting pictures to choose from. I made sure that not all the pictures were about the season.

Which is your favorite of these ‘spring’ pictures?

What should I search for next?

Oak Island – Old Pickax?

Season 9 of The Curse of Oak Island continues to be exciting.

In the episode tonight they showed more items removed from the latest large can using the hammer grab tool. They are getting down to the depths of interest.

Curse of Oak Island, History Channel, Did they find anything? The most interesting find shown this week came near the end of the episode.

What they believe is an old pickax head was brought up from the depths. They believe that it may date back to the deposition of the treasure in the money pit, and that it is not searcher related.

However, since it came at the end of the episode it has not undergone testing, or even cleaning. I am sure the next episode will contain some information about it.

They also showed some scanning that was being carried out in the waters around Oak Island. They were towing a magnetometer and mapping out anomalies. It looked like they found quite a few to explore and they were talking about future dives.

Oak Island, Money Pit, National Geographic, Curse of Oak IslandMeanwhile back on shore they found a few interesting metal pieces while metal detecting. Perhaps a piece of a horse harness and another metal tool head.

Curse of Oak Island, Mahone Bay, Nova ScotiaThere was a very upbeat mood by the searchers this week with a lot of joking of finding the treasure very soon. Are they preparing us for something big?

oak island, curse of oak lsland, satellite, money pitThe preview for next week showed them finding more items from the material brought up by the hammer grab tool and some excitement from the finds. They also showed diving on some of the targets from the magnetometer survey with again some excitement.

What did they find? How exciting will it be next week?
