Wednesday Image Search – Bea

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

After searching for ‘pea’ last week I will search for ‘bea’ this week.

What images will I find?

Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge England, Museum, ArchaeologyWith the first image we have some beads at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, England.  We found a bead, similar to the blue ones, in our square during my first year of digging at Lachish.

Three Generations of Beards - White Beards - Father, Son, Grandfather - Family Heritage - Irish BeardsFor  the second image we have a three generations of beards. The picture of my father an grandfather was taken in 1985, and the second picture was taken of me when I visited Antarctica a little more than 10 years ago.

Wedding pictures, ring bearer, flower girl, weddings, cute kidsNext is a very old picture of me as the ring bearer in my Aunt’s wedding.

Grizzly Bear, Bass Pro Shops, MantecaThis picture of a Grizzly Bear was taken at Bass Pro. I always like to wander around and look at all the animals when I visit there.

Mixer, Beaters, Licking the Beater, cooking, baking, high chairFinally, we have my sister licking the beaters from a mixer. It looks like my Mom may have been making something with chocolate.

I had a lot of interesting bea pictures to choose from.

Which is your favorite of these ‘bea’ pictures?

What should I search for next? I do have another  ‘ea’ search I want to make.

Fish Dishes

Tonight while watching Master Chef Junior I was thinking about fish dishes. I thought back to some of the fish dishes I have shared on the blog. I have eaten fish in many places around the world.Fish in China, Cuisine, Suzhou, Chinese FoodHere is a fish dish we had in Suzhou, China. This is one of my favorite presentations of fish in China.

St. Peter's Fish, St. Peter's Restaurant, Sea of GalileeHere another fish dish that brings back memories.

This is a St. Peter’s fish that I enjoyed by the Sea of Galilee in Israel.

Fish and Chips, Philadelphia Fish and Chicken Bar, Glasgow, ScotlandThis fish dish is from Philadelphia Fish and Chicken Bar in Glasgow, Scotland.

Of course this is a good fish and chips lunch. I remember sitting in my colleagues car eating our lunch.

Fish Curry, Singaporean Cuisine, Straits Cafe, LunchHow about this fish dish. This fish curry was eaten at the Straits Cafe in Singapore. The plating of this dish would not win any competitions, especially since the edge of the bowl was not cleaned. However, it was delicious.

Whole cooked fish - Shanghai, China - Chinese Food - Chinese Cuisine - Fish PresentationThe last fish dish I will share tonight is another whole fish. This one is from a dinner in Shanghai.

I really like the way fish dishes are presented in Asia.

Each of these bring back memories.
