The Curse of Oak Island season 11 continues with finding of new items, but also some delays.
The causeway to the island continues to be busy with all the workers and the experts that look at the finds.
Tonight they talked about how there are some delays with the Garden Shaft. Part of this is from the bad weather that was expected.
They do plan on continuing the program to stop the water issues, but it will take some time.
They talked about sinking a caisson into the Aladdin’s Cave to see what they could find. However, in the meantime they sunk another bore hole which perhaps shows a possible collapse in the cave.
They showed examination of objects from the circular structure and discussed a corroded object and a stone used to sharpen tools.
They also showed the finding of a small glass bead in the circular structure that is very old.
They took a look at the chain and other objects found in the the area by the edge of the swamp. The chain may be from as early as the 1500’s and would be used to move large objects. However, part of the chain is much more recent.
A large metal object that they thought might me a fastener was a tool used to counterpunch nails.

They showed processed images of the interior of Aladdin’s Cave which could show evidence of man made structures. There may be an entrance and an exit to the cave. The sonar images were quite interesting and give a good idea of the size of the void.
In the preview for next week they showed the finding of a buried wood structure near the edge of the swamp. They also must have sunk another bore hole as they were excited that the found the void at the right depth. They mentioned the original Money Pit and it sounds like perhaps Aladdin’s Cave may be connected.
Some interesting developments this week as they continue to hunt for the slippery treasure.
