Wednesday Image Search – Tar

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I searched for ‘sar.’ This week I will proceed to ‘tar’ as I extend the sequence.

What images will I find?

Starter at Shabu-Shabu - Japanese Cuisine - Beautiful plating - Eat with your eyesThe first image is of a starter at a Shabu-Shabu restaurant in Tokyo, Japan. This was a wonderful team meal that I had with a couple of colleagues at a trade show. I really like the way the food is displayed in Japan.

Taronga Zoo - Sumatran Tiger - Panthera tigris sumatrae - Zoo - TigersThe next image is from the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. This is one of my favorite zoos from around the world. I really like this picture I took of a Sumatran Tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae).

Paradise Bay Antarctica - Ice and Snow in Antarctica - Antarctica rock reflectionThis picture was taken in Paradise Bay, Antarctica. We had beautiful views as we cruised along the peninsula.

sheffield England, starbucks, travel, coffeeHere is a picture of a Starbucks in Sheffield, England.Capilla de Santa Catarina - Coyoacan - Old Church Building - Mexico CityThe final picture is of an old church building, Capilla de Santa Catarina, in Mexico City.

There were quite a few ‘tar’ pictures to choose from. I hope you enjoyed my selections. Did you notice that they all came from different continents.

Which is your favorite of these ‘tar’ pictures?

What should I search for next?  Since I am following a series with ‘?ar’  the next one will probably be ‘uar’ as I have some interesting ones to choose from.

Oak Island – Finally Underground

Season 10 of The Curse of Oak Island continues to show new discoveries and theories as they near the season finale. They continue to wander over the island and the world as they investigate the mystery.

This week on Oak Island they started by showing the almost complete rehabilitation of the Garden Shaft with Charles climbing down to the bottom.

The team in Italy took the half coin and small rectangular metal item to a coin shop for investigation and found that they may be up to 1,000 years old.

They also showed the start of an investigation within the circular structure on Lot 5.

oak Island, Money Pit, Mahone BayIn the swamp they continued to better define the placement of the rock ramp that leads up out of the swamp to the old stone road.

Dungeon, Fire, & Sword, Knights Templar, Jerusalem, Crusades, History, BooksThey also met with a research in Rome to talk about pre-Columbian journeys to the New World. The researcher shared information from a small 16th century pamphlet which detailed an Italian voyage by the Zeno brothers who were helped by Henry Sinclair in their travel in the North Atlantic.

In the swamp they seemed to have found an extension of the paved area which they then covered back up.

They found more Templar and Masonic symbols that are similar to ones back on Oak Island. They made some interesting observations, but to me they were a bit of a stretch.

Back on the island the investigation of the circular structure continued and comparisons were made with Scottish architecture. Was this related to Henry Sinclair?

At the end of the episode Marty went down to the bottom of the Garden Shaft and looked beneath the last layer of planks. He was excited that he was finally below ground and possibly close to the treasure.

In the preview of the next episode they showed the circular structure and there was dialog about it possibly being the Hatch from Zena’s old treasure map. They found a metal object also that was said to be isotopically similar to the lead cross. In the Garden Shaft they found something and it was said to be possibly an original depositors tunnel. It will be interesting to see what was found.

With only a few more episodes in the season it will be interesting to see how they wrap things up. Will there be another season? Or will it end with the mystery ‘solved’ but no treasure?
