Wednesday Image Search – Air

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I searched for ‘zar’ to finish the ‘?ar” sequence. This week I will search forΒ  ‘air’ and perhaps start a new sequence.

What images will I find?

chairs, thrones, lachish, judah, kings, length of reign, sculptureThe first image comes from Lachish, Israel. These chairs represent the reigns of the Kings of Judah. The height of the backs represent how long they reigned.

Brady Bunch Renovation, Green chairs, kitchenThe next image is of me making cookies in our kitchen long ago. This image came up because of the green chair in the background. Lots of memories.

hamilton street, stairs, siblings, big sis, two of meHere is another image that brings back some good memories. My sister and I are standing on the neat staircase in our childhood home in Ottumwa, Iowa. You see two of me in this image.

Fairview Church of Christ - Linn, Missouri - Religion in Family History - Country ChurchHere is the Fairview Church of Christ building near Linn, Missouri. My Father and my Grandfather were both ministers of this congregation.

Star Wars, Airplane Art, Narita Airport, ANA Airlines, Special PlanesFinally we have a Star Wars themed jet parked at Narita Airport in Tokyo.

There were quite a few ‘air’ pictures to choose from. I hope you enjoyed my selections. I could have shared just pictures from airports or of hair πŸ™‚

Which is your favorite of these ‘air’ pictures?

What should I search for next?Β  I might start a series with ‘bir’ as the next one. However there a a lot of ‘?ir’ combinations with no search results.

Oak Island – Templar Novels

Season 10 of The Curse of Oak Island is over and it is time to look forward to the next season.

During the off season I plan on doing some research reading. I also plan on reading some Templar novels that I have in my library.

I will share a few of the books that I have read or plan to read before the next season of The Curse of Oak Island.

I will not go into much detail on the books, but will rather just mention a few thoughts about ones that I may read or re-read.

It is interesting to read Historical Fiction as they are usually a good story wrapped around a considerable amount of historical research by the author.

Curse of Oak Island, Templars, Templar Novels, Historical Fiction, off season reading

I will start with The Templar Legacy by Steve Berry. I have always enjoyed the adventures of Cotton Malone in the series of books by Steve Berry. I remember reading this one, but will probably read it again sometime this year.

Most of the novels about Templars are about hidden treasures or secrets.

Curse of Oak Island, Templars, Templar Novels, Historical Fiction, off season readingNext we have The Templar’s Code by C. M. Palov. This one is about a mysterious ancient text.

Curse of Oak Island, Templars, Templar Novels, Historical Fiction, off season readingKnights of the Black and White: A Templar Novel by Jack Whyte is the first of a series. This novel explores some of the history of the order.

Curse of Oak Island, Templars, Templar Novels, Historical Fiction, off season readingThe Last Templar by Raymond Khoury is about the quest for some of the lost secrets of the Templars.

All of these books will help give a better understanding of who the Templars were and could possibly give clues to what might be buried on Oak Island if it was the Templars who deposited treasure there.

I have many more books on my list that are both non-fiction and fiction. I will share more of them in future Tuesday posts.
