Virtual Hike to Hardinsburg, Kentucky

The next destination on my Virtual Hike was Hardinsburg, Kentucky.

Hardinsburg, Kentucky, hog wallow, virtual hikeThe previous destination on my virtual hike was Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Hardinsburg, Kentucky, hog wallow, virtual hikeThe first part of the route was through the suburbs as I headed north to hike by an interesting place.

Hardin County is named for Col. John Hardin and the town is named for his brother Capt. William Hardin.

I chose this destination as it was about halfway to the next location which has a family connection.

I will cross the Ohio River into Indiana by breaking my Virtual Hike rules. See: Breaking the Rules?

In Indiana I will virtually stop at several more places with family connections.
