A couple of days ago there was a break in the rain storms so I decided to take some pictures of my roses as the end of the year approached.
I really should prune my roses, but they still have some roses blooming and it is a bit wet from the winter storms.
Here you see a rose on my St. Patrick bush with the Christmas decorations still up in the background.
It is really hard to prune roses when they still look like this.
My pink floribunda rose bush is still full of roses.
I need to at least get started on the pruning by getting rid of all the spent blooms. Perhaps if it is not raining tomorrow.
My Mister Lincoln bush is very tall with canes growing up past the roof line. There are still some new rose buds that are starting to bloom. How can I cut back buds that will turn into beautiful full blooms that are so fragrant.
However, I need to get started soon so they can begin re-growing during the rainy season.
