The next destination on my Virtual Hike was Danville, Kentucky.

The previous destination on my virtual hike was Paris, Kentucky.

I could have taken a route through Lexington, Kentucky, but decided to skirt around the city and take country roads.

On the edge of Lexington there were some warehouse areas.

I then made it into the country where there were tree lined roads.

There were also some scenic views like this river going over some small falls.

Finally I made it into Danville, where I chose my destination to be the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

This brought back some memories as long ago when I lived in Akron, Ohio one of my trips was to install a laser at the hospital in Danville. I am having some memories of the trip as I write this.

Why did I pick Danville? It was someplace that brought back memories of being there. Also, I have some friends that have lived in Danville in the past and I am thinking of them.

Danville is also about half way to a destination where some family history took place.

The next stop on my Virtual Hike is a secret now, but the family history does have an interesting Presidential connection.

I will then turn north toward Indiana to some other places with family connections.
