I am on vacation this week and have not had much time to write something new, so am going to share something I wrote four years ago after returning home from my last trip to where I am tonight.

I am tired tonight after a long week, so will just post some pictures of an Iowa cornfield.

Over the past months I have seen many pictures of this cornfield as my sister would send snaps of the view out her window.

It was nice to visit my sister and see the view for myself.

You can see that the cornfield is almost ready for harvest.

Here you can see a few ears of the field corn.

I am sure that I will soon see pictures of the harvested field, and then the cycle begins again.

So many memories of Iowa are brought back when I see a field of corn. My mind is really wandering now, so I will get this posted.

This year I am here a bit later and the corn has already been harvested. Instead I got to look out and see the remnants of fallen snow.

I fly home this weekend and next week you will see some pictures from my vacation.
