Often when I travel internationally I will have one meal at McDonald’s. Sometimes you just want a taste of home and know what you are getting. With McDonald’s it tastes pretty much the same wherever you are.

I was out taking a walk and finding the hotel where I stayed 20 years ago while I was here in Bangkok. As I got close to the location I saw the Golden Arches across the road and decided that tonight was the Taste of Home night.

Luckily they had ordering kiosks that were in English. I was able to easily choose a Big Mac Combo.

My food was soon delivered to my table where I was reading a book.

The Big Mac looked just like the ones every else in the world and tasted the same.

I enjoyed the fries that looked and tasted the same. I always enjoy the fries since I have been eating them since I was a kid.

I eat at McDonald’s more often when I travel abroad than when I am at home. I am trying to think of the last time that I ate at one near home.
